Buffy eased back in the recliner and watched as Faith played with Kerry. In a million years she would have never guessed that her girlfriend would have grown so attached to the pet ferret Willow and Tara had gotten them for their first anniversary but seeing was believing. Faith had the cute furry creature decked out in a small leather jacket that she had gotten Willow to shrink, and a stars and striped bandanna made especially for Ferrets that they had picked up at pet store in the mall.

Faith put a orange slice on her shoulder, and Kerry quickly scrambled up the younger slayer's arm and grabbed it. The ferret then ran across Faith's chest and down her other arm.

Buffy almost fell out of her recliner as she laughed at the frisky ferrets antics. Faith shot her a mischievous grin, "What's so funny."

"It's not funny."

"Then why ya laughing," Faith replied, faking a pout.

"Cause it's so darn cute."

"You don't say," Faith replied getting up off the sofa.

"I say, and what you gonna do about it," Buffy teased.

The ferret dropped the half-eaten orange slice and looked up at Faith, then shot a glance over at Buffy. Kerry then darted across the coffee table and leapt onto the recliner. She ran up Buffy's arm and quickly took a resting-place between the blonde slayer's breast.

Faith walked over to Buffy and put her arms on the recliner and looked down at the ferret who was curled up happily at her lover's bosom, "That's not fair!"

"What's not fair?"

"She's in my spot."

"Then make her leave."

Faith looked at the happy ferret, "You gotta move, that's my resting spot."

The ferret looked up at Faith but didn't move from in-between Buffy's breast.

"Did you see that B," Faith exclaimed.

"See what?"

"She laughed at me."

"She's a ferret."

"I know, but I swear I saw her laugh at me."

The End
